Learning how to take a vacation // 01

 

Today is day two of my two week vacation. You know that episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. where Ross is on sabbatical? Bueller...Bueller? Well anyway, I need a Joey to teach me how to spread out my to-do list over the next couple of weeks, because I am already itching to get back into the swing of things.  Yesterday I spent the afternoon scouring my favorite internet sites and fell in love with the 6 items above. I already own that baseball cap in red and highly recommend it to anyone who suffers from an occasional bad hair day (or two).

Big Girls Invest

Saturday morning I entered J. Crew with gift cards in hand and the intention of purchasing a handful of extra 40% off sale items. I longingly looked at the racks and realized that there wasn't a single item that spoke to me. Then I remembered this jacket and the heavens parted ("awwwwww").

I am absolutely, one hundred percent, head over heels in love with my new Anthropologie flats. I received these beauties for my 23rd birthday from the boy. Needless to say, he has a serious sense of fashion or perhaps he just listens really well when his girlfriend points out potential birthday gift ideas. Either way I'm ecstatic.

Twenty two brought incredible opportunity, a college degree, my sisters to my city and love (yes, excuse the mush). Bring on twenty three.
